Past Life Regression

Jazz Jennings

Introduction

In 2018, while trying to lose 30 pounds (14 kg) ahead of gender reassignment surgery, Jazz sought the help of her Hypnotherapist, Keli Raymond. Part of her treatment involved a past life regression session to find the underlying cause of why she was struggling to lose this weight.

Jazz Jennings is an American YouTube personality, television personality, and LGBT rights activist.  Jennings is one of the youngest publicly documented people to identify as transgender. She first received media attention in 2007, aged just seven, when an interview with Barbara Walters aired on 20/20. This has led to more high profile interviews and appearances.

Past Life Regression

Speaking before the regression, she said, “I’m open to past life regression because I believe that I’ve had past lives, and maybe it could unlock the doors of my mind or my past.”

In her past life regression, she was a person called man called Cal. She saw a marketplace in a town. Many of the stalls selling food. She recalls feeling hungry.  His family had rejected him and that he did not have a home. This was due to his sexuality. He feels very alone and hungry.

Later she sees the last day of Cal’s life. He is on a rocking chair and reflects on him still not being able to live the way he wanted.

Reflection

The experience of a past life where she had suffered persecution and starvation may well be at the root of her weight issues.

Talking about her past life, she said, “Coming out of the hypnosis. It feels like I travelled through another lifetime. I was definitely able to connect a few dots from my past life to my current life, because there were a lot of underlying themes that are relevant to what I’m going through now”.

She goes on to say, “Past life where I wasn’t able to be myself, and that kind of makes sense. I share a lot of similarities with Cal, because he was looking for that acceptance. But faced, intolerance. And I have faced a lot of those struggles as well, and I try to stay strong like. I always seem like this mighty person who has no problems and who’s not vulnerable at all. But I binge eat to make myself feel happier”.

Finally, she added, “I feel like I finally understand why that is… I finally feel empowered to gain back control over my life. It was wonderful”.
